Cutlass Supreme International Series
Oldsmobile used the International Series to give the W-body Cutlass Supreme a sharper personality through appearance, chassis and powertrain combinations that evolved significantly during the W1 years.
A performance trim that kept changing
The International Series is best understood by model year. Early cars emphasized suspension, appearance and equipment packages; later cars gained some of GM’s most interesting W1 powertrains.
V6 grand touring
Early International models used GM’s 60-degree V6 family with sport-oriented chassis and trim details that separated them from mainstream Cutlass Supreme models.
High-output four-cylinder
The high-output Quad 4 brought a very different high-revving personality and could be paired with a manual transmission in select early-1990s applications.
3.4 Twin Dual Cam
The 3.4-liter DOHC V6 became the most powerful naturally aspirated International-era combination, including rare manual-transmission cars.
